A Website Doesn't Work with Slon Privacy Connected
If a particular website does not open while Slon Privacy is connected, it does not always mean there is a problem with your connection. Some websites restrict access through VPNs or for users from certain countries.
Some websites may detect VPN use through indirect signals โ for example, a mismatch between your device's time zone and the selected location, or browser fingerprint data. A website may also restrict access for users from certain countries.
Change your location
First, select a server in the same or a similar time zone to yours. If that does not help, try another location. Learn more about available Slon Privacy locations โ
Use a different VPN protocol
In the Happ or INCY settings, select another available protocol and try connecting again.
Open the website in incognito mode
This can help determine whether the problem is related to cookies, cache, or saved website data.
Limit browser tracking
You can use extensions that block trackers and reduce the amount of data websites can use to build a browser fingerprint.
