Russian Websites and Services Won't Open with VPN

Some Russian services may not work when you are connected through a foreign IP address.

For example, restrictions may affect Avito, Gosuslugi, Kinopoisk, and other Russian websites and apps.

What to do

Change your Slon Privacy location and try opening the service again.

Choose the right location

For Russian services, we recommend using Slon Privacy locations where all or most Russian websites and apps are available.

Try the RU โ†’ ND location if you need access to both Russian and international services. If you are abroad and need access to Russian services, use the RU location.

Reconnect

Disconnect your current VPN connection, select a new location, and connect again. Then reopen the website or app you need.

Done! If the service still does not open, try another suitable Slon Privacy location.
